You may have have noticed that, over the last few months, we have been making some significant and positive changes to our online service; including website usability, delivery methods and even new products! These updates have come as a result of customer feedback via email, telephone and specific surveys we have done throughout the last year.
All of these updates are now live on our website, and are guaranteed to make your online shopping experience better; regardless of which device you are browsing on (mobile/tablet/PC). Here’s a quick overview of some of the biggest updates we’ve made; and the reasons why:
Over recent months we have recognised that our website needed more visual clarity. We had customers who were looking for something very specific that they had seen in one of our beautiful shops, yet they weren't quite sure what it was called. By updating our homepage to include some visual icons (as a shortcut to different areas of the website), we were able to make the process of finding our best selling items much more efficient.
We also included some additional visual links from the homepage; which will vary seasonally to improve awareness of the different product types we offer. At present, such links include 'Luxury Hampers', 'Birthday Treats', 'Congratulations Gifts' and 'Luxury EDT Perfumes'.

Express UK delivery
We have also now consolidated our shipping methods into one (extremely efficient) delivery service named "Express UK Delivery". This method is run by our trusted courier, DPD Local, who provide a next day service for all packages when they are ordered before 2pm Monday - Thursday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Any orders placed before 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday, and any orders placed between 2pm on a Friday and 2pm on a Monday will be deivered on the Tuesday.
New and improved product page
Whilst our product page has changed a lot, there are three particularly important additions that will be extremely useful to our customers:
1) A delivery countdown timer, providing a guaranteed estimate on when your package will arrive; should you order within the stated time period. Extremely useful if you intend on ensuring a package will arrive on a particular date. Please note however, that during busy periods (i.e. Christmas), this tool may not to be switched off due to high demand.
2) "Item Contains": We suddenly realised that certain products (i..e gift boxes and hampers) were not clearly portraying their contents; as the list of included products was hidden inside the product description. We have now sepearated this list of included products to make it much clear what is included.
3) "Ideal For/Made With": As our products include the finest ingredients we can find, and are suitable for a wide range of uses, we wanted to talk about it a little more. We have therefore included a list on each product page to show some of the key ingredients we use, and also to help you understand why we created the products in the first place.

We recently partnered with the popular review service, TrustPilot, to collect reviews from our online customers. We feel that seeing reviews from other customers who've already shopped with us will give you confidence in our service and the quality of our products, and will also emphasise our own confidence in the reliability of our online shop and delivery service. We launched our first range of Luxury Hampers (9 in total) on 1st April 2016, and they were immediately very popular indeed. So popular in fact, that we decided to make them a permanent product. Since then we have grown our range by including Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Yorkshire Lad and Yorkshire Lass hampers; in addition to more festive hampers for the Christmas period.
Considering the above, we felt it only appropriate to permanently include "Hampers" in our website's main navigation. You'll now find it proudly placed between our links to "Gift Boxes" and "Soaps"; making the beautiful hampers much easier to find than before!
