Plans To Reward Our Loyal Customers

Since opening our beautiful Hebden Bridge shop on 22nd July 2005, we’re proud to say that we’ve organically created a group of loyal customers who’ve shopped with us ever since. These familiar faces are always fabulous to see each and every time they pop in to buy treats for their family, friends or colleagues (or sometimes themselves of course!). Equally, with the subsequent opening of our shops in York, Leeds, Beverley and Knaresborough over a period of 5 years, we’re delighted to say that our group of wonderful “yorkshire soapies” is still growing; and we really do appreciate this. For this reason, we would like to talk about how we recognise customer loyalty in our business, and what we’ll be doing in the future to ensure each and every person is appropriately rewarded for how long they’ve been shopping with us and how many times they’ve visited our shops; or purchased something online. 

Whilst our time as owners of The Yorkshire Soap Company is now spread across multiple stores and our wonderful soap kitchen in York, we can assure you that (with the help of our amazing YSC team) we’ll always reward loyalty, and that we’ll never forget those customers who have supported us over the years to grow and develop in what we do. We still spend every day working out how we can improve to give our customers what they really want, and this will never change no matter how much we continue to grow.

We are aware that our loyalty (or VIP) offering is not clear at this stage, as we unfortunately do not offer the ability to earn points or redeem points. This concept is still in development and may take some time for us to launch across all of our stores, as we want to make sure it is 100% right before we do so. We do apologise for this. We are, however, logging your email address against all of our transactions (in-store and online) and safely storing this data for our use only. If you’ve had a VIP card from us many years ago, please don’t worry, we’ll be combining your rewards together so you don’t lose out. This means that, once our loyalty scheme is launched, we’ll give you a head start based on your previous sales with us; as long as you continue to provide the same email address whenever you purchase with us! This way, you can rest assured that you’re being noticed and appreciated! 

Meanwhile, while we develop our loyalty scheme, we’ll be sending out exclusive offers and announcements by email (only one email per week), so please keep an eye out in your inbox to make sure you can take advantage of them.
